Agapito Homero Ramirez Jr.

Agapito Homero Ramirez Jr., 64, of Mathis, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026. Agapito was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 24, 1962, to Agapito Homero Ramirez Sr. and Irene Rivera. He worked as a mechanic at a cotton gin. Agapito was a beloved son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Agapito was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Consuelo Ramirez, his maternal grandparents, and his paternal grandparents.

Agapito is survived by his mother, Irene (Juan) Gonzales; father, Agapito Homero Ramirez Sr.; and his children, Monica Stone, Torivio (Jessica) Ramirez, Victoria (Mike) Ramirez, Agapito (Victoria) Ramirez III, and Juan (Kimberly) Ramriez. Agapito is also survived by his siblings, Susana Garcia, Carolina Ramirez, Vanette Ramirez, Yvette Ramirez, and Rey Ramirez; 19 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00am - 1:00pm with the Chapel Service to begin at 1:00pm. Interment will be held at 2:00 at Descanso Eterno Cemetery #2.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Stone, Dylan Guzman, Xavier Ramirez, Juan Ramirez Jr., Felix Garcia Jr., and Omar Garcia. Honorary pallbearer will be Ethan Zapata.
