Ruby Adcock Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Boshears Sheckles Adcock, age 84 of the Coolidge Community passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023. She was born September 5, 1938. Ruby was a beautician in the LaFollette area for 63 years, and also enjoyed fishing. Preceded in death by 1st Husband of 42 years, Fred L. Sheckles, 2nd Husband of 24 years, Bobby J. Adcock, Parents, Earnest and Ida Mynatt Boshears, Sisters, Beaulah Davis, Polly Lynch, Bessie Baird, Betty Roach, and Callie Boshears, Brothers, Bill, Malone, and Parnick Boshears.
Survivors: Daughters, Vicky Queener, and Angie Adcock and husband, Junior; Grandchildren, Ray S. Ivey, April Adcock-Baird, and Paige Adcock; Great-Granddaughters, Elisa Nelson and Emerson Ivey; Great-Great-Grandson, Baylor Mack Nelson; Brother, Alvis Boshears; Special Nieces, Louella Goins and Diana Boshears, and a host of other Nieces and Nephews that she loved.
A private burial will take place at Bakers Forge Cemetery at a later date. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Ruby Boshears Sheckles Adcock.
