Ruby E Anderson

The funeral service for Mrs. Ruby E. Anderson, 94, of Jacksonville, will be held at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Jacksonville with Reverend Danny Jeffers officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anderson passed away February 5, 2025, at Jacksonville Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Harvie Clayton Anderson; her parents, Homer and Myrtie Turner; her daughter, Linda Howell; her sister, Imogene Jean Smith; her brothers, Bob Turner, Oscar Turner, James Turner, Charles Turner, and Horace Turner.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Attalla, Alabama and a longtime resident of Jacksonville. She was a member of the Congressional Holiness Church, loved crocheting, painting, her flowers and gardening.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Anderson and his wife, Frankie; son-in-law, Mickey Howell; grandchildren, Lindsey Howell, Ashley Pearson and her husband, Craig, Michael Howell and his wife, Jen, Brandon Anderson (Amanda Jacobs), Tracie Shellhouse and her husband, Gene, Jeremie Reed (Jeremy), and Shannon Eubanks; several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jason Mashburn, Charles Hulse, Michael Howell, Michael Bartol, Chip Shellhouse and Hoyt Turner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Anderson, Jeremy Reed and Gene Shellhouse.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
