Ruby “Katy” Ann Brady

Ruby "Katy" Ann Brady left this earthly home to go to her heavenly home on April 10, 2025, after blessing everyone with her presence for almost 13 years.

Katy was a beautiful girl who made everyone around her smile with her giggle and her "Mary Boop" sounds. She loved everyone that she came in contact with and made the world a better place whenever she was near.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving grandmother, "Nana" Lorrie Wall; her father, Luke Brady; mother, Amanda Gordon; sister, Rhylee Gordon; several uncles and aunts, Matthew Brady, Maggi Brady, TJ and Jeannie Gordon, and David and Nancy Gordon; grandparents, Robert and Penny Brady, and Tim and Geneva Gordon; and several special cousins and friends like Connie and Ricky Beal.

Also left to keep Katy's memory alive are her "school family" members from Silk Hope School: Ms. Jen, Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Wendy and Ms. Brooke; along with her classroom friends, especially her best friend since preschool, Dayaris Moreno.

Katy is preceded in death by her uncle Aaron Brady, granny Margaret H. Wall, aunt Sue Wall, and cousin Axel Gordon.

A celebration of Katy's life is planned for Friday, April 18, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Katy's home: 217 John Deere Lane, Bear Creek, NC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Silk Hope PTA earmarked for Katy's classroom. Katy has forever left her imprint on a lot of hearts.
