Ruby Carol Birdwell

Ruby Carol Birdwell, 92, of Bryson, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Ruby was born on September 30, 1932, in Denton, Texas to Will G. and Lydia Schmalz Trietsch. She married Charles Birdwell on September 6, 1952, in Sanger, Texas. She and Charles had lived on the family farm since 1975, moving there from Azle, Texas. She loved reading, walking around the farm, keeping up with everyone on Facebook, doing puzzles, playing cards, and travelling. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles (September 16, 2013, and her 3 brothers: Buzzy Trietsch, Perry Trietsch, and Wallace (Buddy) Trietsch. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son: John W. Birdwell and wife Diane of Bryson; daughter: Brenda Charlene Falls and husband Keith of Arlington; grandchildren: Carol Waterson and husband Alan, Jason Birdwell, Alan Falls and wife Caitlin and Paul Youngblood and wife Misty; great-grandchildren: Cheyenne Nunez and Brandon, Cora, Isla and Jude Falls; Dillon, Hunter, Samantha, Bailey, and Cutter Wayne Youngblood; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2PM, Sunday, January 26, 2025, at McMillan Satterwhite Funeral Home. The burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery, Bryson, Texas.
Arrangements are under the direction of McMillon Satterwhite Funeral Home, 1501 Highway 380 Bypass, Graham, Texas.
