Ruby Bottorff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home - Osceola on Nov. 4, 2025.
Ruby Bottorff, 89, of Mishawaka, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Paintsville, Kentucky, on March 26, 1936, Ruby was the cherished daughter of John and Virgie (Boyd) Bolin. She married Arthur Bradford in 1952, and they shared many years together until his passing in 1999. Ruby married again in 2013 to Max Bottorff, who preceded her in death in 2021.
Ruby was a devoted member of the Michiana Community Church of God in Granger, where her faith and kindness touched many lives. As dedicated homemaker and skilled Reflexologist, she poured her heart into caring for others. Ruby found joy in reading, working word puzzles, tending to her yard, and decorating for the holidays - especially when it meant bringing smiles to those she loved.
Ruby's life was a reflection of love, faith, and family - a legacy that will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Thomas Wenger; her brothers, Joe Bolen, Granville Bolen, and Randle Bolen; and her sisters, Bertha Snell and Janice Short.
Ruby's memory will be forever treasured by her loving children, Renet (Fred) Ihrig and Debra (Bernard) Adams; her four grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Violet Emrick and Barbara Templin. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends, and those blessed to have known her.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Michiana Community Church of God, 51637 Ash Rd., Granger, IN 46530. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, with Reverend Denver Burns officiating.
Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, in the Gardens of Everlasting Life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Michiana Community Church of God, 51637 Ash Rd., Granger, IN 46530, or online at www.michianacommunitychurch.com/donate
