Ruby's early years, growing up on the Cotton Mill Block laid the foundation for a life full of love for music and family. Her warm smile and gentle spirit were a comfort to all who knew her. Ruby's dedication to her family was unparalleled, and she was a source of unwavering support and guidance to her daughters, Sandra and Rachel Dover, and her cherished grandchildren, Joshua, Morgan, Josephine, and Jocelyn Dover.
Ruby's professional life was marked by a 15-year tenure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Corsicana Memorial Hospital. Her commitment to her patients and colleagues was evident in the care and expertise she brought to her work every day. Ruby's nurturing nature extended beyond her family to the many lives she touched through her nursing career.
Her brother, William Beaird, Jr., and sister-in-law, Carolyn Ann Beaird, remember Ruby as a pillar of strength and wisdom within the family. Her guidance and love will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Ruby's love for music was a joy that she carried with her throughout her life. It was a passion that she shared with her family and friends, creating a soundtrack to the many cherished moments they spent together. Her love for her family was her most profound interest, and she invested her heart and soul into creating a nurturing and supportive environment for them.
Ruby's life will be celebrated in the memories of her family and friends, who will continue to honor her spirit by living out the values she embodied. Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her influence will forever be a guiding light to those she loved.
A Private Interment Service will take place. Services Entrusted to Corley Funeral Home, 418 North 13th Street, Corsicana, TX. 903-874-3755.
