Ruby Frances Delso, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 85. Born on April 23, 1939, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Ruby was a beacon of love and compassion to all who knew her. She was a selfless individual who found joy in taking care of others, leaving an indelible mark on those around her. She had a passion for nurturing those close to her and was best known for her warm nature and kind spirit. In her latter years in life, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, was baptized in the Church of Christ and attended when able. Her last few years were spent at Meadowbrook Nursing Center surrounded by so much love. The staff was not staff, they were family and residents were not residents, they were her neighbors and friends. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting and solving puzzle books, she enjoyed playing Bingo with the ladies. She had a talent for cooking, particularly when it came to preparing holiday meals. Her Thanksgiving dressing and gravy were legendary among family and friends.
Ruby leaves behind a legacy of love that will be cherished. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Audie (Earnest) Walker; sister, Imogene Marshall; twin brother, Robert Walker; brothers Donald and Charles; as well as husbands Bobby Malone, Cecil Reese and Daniel Delso.
She is survived by her son, Michael Malone and wife Patricia of Pryor, OK, and Frank Cross and wife Cheryl of Liberty Mounds, OK. Ruby also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, Matthew, Kiefer, Mitchel, Kara, Melanie, Becky, Tiffany, and Kenny - who will forever treasure the memories they shared with their beloved grandmother. Additionally, her great-grandchildren, Amber, Ashlyn, Stevie, Marik, Jayce, Laikyn, Lauren, Owen and Jax; also nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
