Ruby Jadean Doran

Jadean Perry Doran passed away on July 10, 2023. She was born on May 27, 1944, in Abilene, Texas, to Val and Ruby Pharr Perry. Jadean graduated from Lovington High School, and this is where she met the love of her life, Benny Doran. They were married 60 years. Benny's job gave them many happy memories of travelling and they lived most of their married life in Atlanta, Georgia, until moving to Denton, Texas, in 2013.
Jadean was an expert on Waterford Crystal and a collector of teacups and saucers from all over the world. She was a homemaker and she loved flowers of every kind and her favorite were Iris'. She was a wonderful cook and made many dinners for friends, family and her airline family. Her door was always open to anyone.
Jadean is survived by her husband of 60 years, Benny R. Doran, her two sons, Jay Doran (Rene) of Carrollton, Texas, and Ray Doran (Tami) of The Colony, Texas, and her cat, Princess. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Donivan Doran, Delanie Doran, Michael Alexander, and Candace Alexander. She is also survived by her sister, Valene McMillan of Lewisville, Texas, two nephews, Perry McMillan and Rodney McMillan and one niece, Jodi McMillan.
Jadean was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Don Perry.
Graveside services were held at the Antioch Cemetery on July 18, 2023. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
