Ruby C. Drew, age 92, of Marion, Illinois went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2025. Born to Marion and Eula Ice on June 17, 1933. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Harlen Drew Jr., her parents and her two brothers Charles Ice and Gilbert Ice.
She is survived by her two children, Gregory E. and Deborah Drew and Harlena K. and Frank Arrowood; five grandchildren Kassi Beasley, Ryan McKinney, Aaron Drew, Tabatha Crain and Austin Arrowood and five great grandchildren Evan Beasley, Declan Beasley, Thea Crain, Sutton McKinney and Crew Mckinney, all of whom she cherished deeply. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Ruby was known for her sweet and caring nature. She loved her family, friends, and her faith above all else. Her gentle spirit and steadfast devotion touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and love will continue through those she left behind.
Funeral services were trusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley Ross. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Blue Funeral Home located at 1704 N. Court St. in Marion. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to Residential Hospice in her memory, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
