Ruby L. Hansen

Ruby L. Hansen age 95 of Coleridge, Nebraska died on Sunday, October 09, 2022 at Park View Haven Nursing Home in Coleridge.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Coleridge with Dick Bloomquist officiating. Burial will be at Lawn Ridge Cemetery in Coleridge. Visitation will be on Wednesday, at church, from 5-7:00 p.m. and will continue on Thursday one hour prior to services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Coleridge.

Pallbearers will be Roger Hahne, Kevin Hahne, Doug Hahne, Aaron Hansen, Shawn Swan, and Josh Medina.

Ruby Lorraine was born on May 31, 1927 in Coleridge, Nebraska to Clarence Eugene and Mary (Dresden) Peck. She grew up in Coleridge and graduated from Coleridge High School in 1944. Ruby married Harold August Hansen on October 31, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska. She and Harold lived on the farm from 1947-1955 and then they moved into Coleridge. Harold died on August 4, 2000 at the age of 83 years. Ruby did live at the Embers Assisted Living prior to moving to Park View Haven Nursing Home.

Ruby was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Women's Circle, Coleridge American Legion Auxiliary, and always enjoyed having coffee with her many friends.

Ruby is survived by her two sons Randy (Mildred "Freddie") Hansen of Gretna, Rick Hansen of Omaha, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold; and 13 brothers and sisters.
