Ray, my mother loved your mother so much. I loved to hear the stories of them growing up in Langdale. Mom died last year and we have been looking at old photos - so many of mother and Ruby and Charlie. Thoughts and prayers are with your family. Ruby was a very special lady.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Ruby's passing. I knew her from when she was a member of Shawmut First Baptist Church. I always loved Mrs. Ruby; she was a sweetie. Sending prayers your way.

Our condolences in the loss of Ms. Ruby. We both remember her well from our school days when we attended Valley High School with Roger. She was a very special lady with a warm, ready smile for everyone. God bless you during your sadness and loss.

Ray and family; and Aunt Evelyn. we all know what a wonderful person we had in Aunt Ruby. I have so many wonderful memories. Aunt Ruby and Uncle Charlie sang at my wedding (standing on a kneeling stool of course). Aunt Ruby was always encouraging us to be successful and live a happy life. What a wonderful example she made. Love you all and so sorry I will not be able to be with the family. I have already sent my love to Aunt Ruby in Heaven. Linda Tankersley Humber

Ray, Our thoughts and prayer are with all of you. Aunt Ruby was such a joy in our lives. I have never know anyone who had such a wonderful outlook on life. She always filled our lives with happiness. We always looked forward to her visits when she was able and attended our family reunions. God bless you and your family.

Ray, I share in your grief. You and your family were more my family than friends. I will long remember growing up at Loray and playing in the "holler", then walking across 2nd Ave. and into your families loving arms.
