Ruby W. Hummel

Ruby was such a nice lady. A smile that she never misplaced was as natural as only she could share. It was an honor to have known her. A time of humor (because she was not hurt)... When a deacon and I baptized her, we misjudged where we were standing and as we brought her backward and her head approached the side of the baptistery, he said under his breath, "Oh no!" It was only a little bump (because we slowed her decent and pulled her away), but a (small) bump it was. And, Ruby was fine. In fact her smile was still there for her to share. See you in heaven Sis. Ruby!

I loved dear Ruby and missed her when she couldn't come to church anymore. I sent her cards regularly. I will miss her but our loss is Heaven's gain. I'm so sorry

My Aunt Ruby was one of my most special women in my life. She had a way of making me feel loved and special. I look forward to spending eternity with her!! I loved her!!!
