Ruby Keltner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Mar. 10, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ruby Helen Keltner, who departed this life peacefully on March 6, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in Missouri on December 20, 1938, Ruby spent her life dedicated to her family and her work. Ruby started her career with Zenith electronics for 26 years. She then was a proud assembly line worker at Kraft in the food manufacturing industry, but her greatest joy came from being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Ruby is survived by her cherished daughter, Gerri and Tim Rogers; her devoted son, Tony Keltner; sisters Tina Cochran and Bonnie and Rich Fedor; very special granddaughter, Shanda and Dylan Mayhew, her sweet grand-dog, Rudy, two grandsons, Scott and Aaron Keltner; bonus grandchildren, Missy Massey, Carrie Countryman, Whitney Robison, and Shad Rogers, as well as 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and good friends.
Ruby was a woman of vibrant spirit who loved to indulge in her passions. She was an avid movie watcher, especially fond of the thrilling tales spun in *The Walking Dead*. Ruby also enjoyed losing herself in the pages of mystery novels and true crime stories, engaging her curious mind until the very end.
She was greeted in heaven by her parents, Clint and Anna Mary Ray; and Dolly and Cecil Hart, her brothers and their wives, Don and Lois Ray, and Hoyl and Thelma Ray, sister, Ruth Ann White and her infant daughter Sherry Ann.
To celebrate Ruby's incredible life and the love she shared with all of us, the family will receive visitors on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM in Greenlawn Funeral Home, North. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM also in the funeral home. Ruby will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens following the ceremony.
Ruby Helen Keltner will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Let's gather to honor her legacy with laughter, shared stories, and a celebration of the love she gave so freely.
