Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Ann Ladd will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Ron Nation officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Ladd, 77, of Pollock, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Bryant, Sr., and Goldie Bryant; one brother, Sam Bryant, Jr.; one half-brother, James Butler; and two half-sisters, Nettie Griffin and Ennie Lee Saulter.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of thirty-one years, Willie Ladd of Pollock; three sons, Frank Foster, Jr. of Pollock, Jason Foster (Shari) of Pollock, and Justin Foster (Rhonda) of Pineville; two daughters, Paula Brown of Dry Prong, and Sammie Edwards (Lester) of Simpson; one step-son, Willie Joe Ladd (Jill) of Pollock; one step-daughter, Mickey Payne of Texas; ten grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Joseph Brown, Joe Magee, Richard Ladd, Peyton Coleman, Kenneth Bowen, and Mason Foster. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Brown, Jackson Brown, Connor Brown, Tyler Magee, Colt Magee, and Willie Joe Ladd.
