Ruby Ethel Lanni, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on April 2, 2025, in Monroe, Michigan, at the age of 97. Born on November 19, 1927, in Cookeville, Tennessee, Ruby lived a life marked by dedication, love, and resilience.
Ruby worked as a nail technician, where her meticulous attention to detail and warm personality left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her work was more than just a profession; it was a testament to her commitment to bringing beauty and joy into the lives of others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bedford and Avo Brown, her brothers Luther, Marvin, Donald Brown, her sister Reva Brown, and step-brothers Skipper and Thad. Their memories were cherished by Ruby throughout her life.

Each of them carries forward her spirit of kindness and strength. She also leaves behind her very close family friends: Andrea, Krisztina, Veronika, and Zoltan "Zach" Lawrence, who will all miss her dearly.
