Ruby Lee Sizemore Justice, 92, of Easley, South Carolina, wife of the late Harold William Justice, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at her home.
Born in Abbeville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Toy and Bernella Sizemore. She attended Welcome High School before furthering her education at Tri County Technical College, where she studied Library Science, cultivating her lifelong love for education.
For over 20 years, Ruby Lee worked as a skilled seamstress, creating beautiful baby clothes that brought joy to countless families. She dedicated 20 years to Playskool Baby, where her precision and creativity shined. Beyond her professional life, Ruby Lee was an artist at heart, learning to paint on her own and finding joy in sharing that passion with her son through their painting sessions.
A devoted member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church since 1997, Ruby Lee contributed her talents to the church library, where she shared her love for books and learning. She was known for her happy heart, hardworking nature, and deep love for her family. Her happiness was contagious, and she found immense joy in spending time with her children, cooking for loved ones, and playing basketball.
Ruby Lee will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her passion for learning, and the love she poured into every aspect of her life, from her work as a seamstress to her role as a mother and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and resilience.
She is survived by her son, Michael Larry Justice; a daughter, Judy Lynn Georgidas; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Mark Lamar Justice; a daughter, Joyce Kathleen Justice; two brothers and six sisters.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 10:15 AM on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. A graveside service will follow the visitation in Graceland Cemetery – West at 10:45 AM.
Flowers will be accepted.
