Ruby Eillene Leftwich

Ruby Eillene Leftwich age 84 of Maywood, MO, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at her home, in Maywood, MO. She was born August 10, 1940 in Newark, MO, the daughter of James Willard Florea and Etta Belle (Vanskike) Florea. She was united in marriage to Harold J. Leftwich, on February 6, 1965, in Labelle, MO.
Ruby received her education at Labelle High School. Ruby enjoyed tending to her garden, dancing, and getting lost in a book. She also had a day care where she watched her grandchildren for her daughter. Ruby enjoyed the simple things in life the most. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Labelle MO, where she lived her life with faith.
Surviving are her husband Harold Leftwich, two children, Jason (Shannon) Leftwich of Palmyra, MO and Paula Leftwich of Maywood, MO, one brother Delmar Florea of Kahoka MO, one sister Mary Katherine Shugart of Bradley, IL, two grandchildren, Tori and Kendra Maples, and several nieces and nephews. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents.
Ruby's wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Coder Funeral Home, Labelle, MO.
