Ruby Dean Martin

Ruby Mooney Martin, age 79, of Cumming, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mahlon Martin; her son, Marty Martin; her parents, Edd and Avalene Mooney; her sisters, Katherine Tate, Dorothy Reed, Wilma Vaughn, and Thelma Mooney.

Ruby was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church. She loved her family, golf, working in her yard, and her Coal Mountain Church family. She retired from 3M after many years of service. She also served many years with the National Racking Horse Association.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Myron and Patti Martin of Cumming; granddaughter, Madelyn Martin of Cumming; brother, Roger and his wife Kathy Mooney of Whiteville, Texas; sisters, Margie Green of Jefferson, GA; Martha Hartsfield of Ripley, Tennessee; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Friday, 9 A.M. until the hour of the service.
