She was born June 8th, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Ruby and Nathaniel Walker. She departed this life on Friday, September 29th, 2023.
Anyone who knew Ruby Jean will remember her as a strong and determined woman. Her hard-working values were instilled in her by her parents. Her smile and laugh were contagious and could bring light to any room she entered. She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother.
"Gone from our sights, but never from our hearts."
She leaves to cherish her memory, two children, her sons Steven (Deedee) Arnold Jr. and Roderick Arnold, of Columbus, Ohio; Brother Theodore Albert Pritchett of Georgia; Nephews and nieces, Ellis, Vernetta and Carol Pritchett; Great niece, Devonia Pritchett Martin (Marquez) of Columbus, Ohio; Grandchildren, Roderick, Aliyah, Christina, Gabrielle and Ranique. She held a special place in her heart for Steven Arnold Sr. and Paul Johnson. Her Late cousins, William (Billy) Jamison and Gloria Gean Harper, were more like a brother and sister who were very dear to her heart. Very special friends, Ella Coleman and Sandra Wilson, and a host of grandnephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
