Ruby E. Persutti was called home to the Lord on January 4, 2026 at the age of 83, surrounded by loved ones at home. Ruby was born to parents, Molly and Ernest Beagle, on April 29, 1942 in Salinesville, Ohio.
She attended Salinesville schools before traveling the USA for a bit and then moving to Buffalo, New York where she met her dear husband, Franklin Persutti, in 1972. They married on St. Paddy's Day of 1975 and added two sons to their family. In 1996, they relocated back to Ohio and settled down in and around the Alliance area. There, she found community and friendship through her faith by becoming a member of Maranatha Church, where she was a devoted member of the congregation until her death. She enjoyed watching HGTV, cooking, baking, collecting items for various collections (including but not limited to: decorative spoons, coins, and kitchen gadgets), and of course, Bible Study.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her brothers, Dale Beagle, Lyman Beagle, and Wayne Beagle; her husband, Franklin Persutti; her brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Beverly Persutti; and her son, Franklin Pierce.
She is survived by her sons, Sean (Connie) Persutti of New York, Tony (Faith) Persutti, and Jason (Dawn) Caiazza of Alliance; and daughter-in-law, Jeanine of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by grandchildren, Breanna, Ethan, Frankie, Bobbi, Alexander, Jacklyn (Madison), Shania, and Orry; as well as great-grandchildren, Oleander and Grayson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones. She will be forever loved and dearly missed.
Services will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Visiting Hours will be from 11 am until 1 pm with her service to begin at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Maranatha Church General Fund at the Maranatha Church at 14289 Edison St NE Alliance, Ohio 44601.
