Ruby Hilda Bufkin Rodgers December 12, 1926 - July 26, 2024 Ruby Hilda Bufkin Rodgers, 97 (almost 98), of Belzoni, Mississippi, was received into the presence of God yet still alive, not only in heaven but in the hearts of all of those who loved her on Friday, July 26, 2024. Ruby was married to her lifelong sweetheart, Billy Hope (Bill) Rodgers, for 68 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Lavatus Bufkin and Wince Pearl Blissett, her husband Bill, a daughter, Billie Hope, and two sons, Rod Rodgers and Ricky Aust. Ruby and Bill built a beautiful life together that was centered on their faith and family. Ruby is survived by her children Carolyn (Dick) Stevens of Isola, Brenda Aust of Belzoni, Deborah (Charles) Whetstone of Woodville, Lisa Rodgers of Belzoni, and Shirley (Ross) Bell of Monroe, LA.
