Ruby Lynn Smith

Ruby Lynn Smith, 66, of Myrtle Beach, SC 29575, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Oakdale Baptist Church, 1249 Oakdale Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730 at 1:00pm in the afternoon. There will be a small gathering with light refreshments after the service.
Ruby was born in Morganton, NC on September, 23, 1957, the daughter of Richard Allen Hadley and Billie Louise Barrier.
Ruby worked in Property Management for 15 years prior to retiring. She enjoyed camping, shopping, sitting on the beach, spending time with family especially her husband, James, and their fur baby Sassy. Ruby always had a heart of gold and tried to support her family and friends through her kind words and her love of the Lord. She is even taking care of others after death by being an organ donor and giving life to others.
Ruby is survived by loving husband James H. Smith, daughters Patricia Conner, Elisabeth Rochester, son-in-law Chad Rochester, Sr., grandchildren Brianna Banks, EJ Banks, Chad Rochester, Jr., Hunter Rochester, Carly Rochester, great grandchildren Rahim Glaze III, Nevaeh Gutierrez, Lorenzo Dungee, Paisleigh Rochester, Chadwick Rochester III, sisters June Shell, Barbara Grady, Connie Stroupe, Yana Greene, Tonya Goodson, Kimberly Sorrow, brothers Steven Grady, Michael Langdon, numerous nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.
Ruby is preceded in death by brother Robert Grady, great grandson Jordan Dungee II.
