Ruby A. Warren, 96 of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Saturday, March 7th, 2026. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ruby was born on March 2, 1930, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Edgar and Margaret R. (Koza) Grimm. She graduated from Wilson High School in 1948. Over the years, she worked as a beautician and later at Hy-Vee, Square D, and Amana Refrigeration, where she retired. After retirement, she enjoyed working as a lunch lady at Washington High School.
Ruby was first married to James R. Hill in 1949, and later married Robert R. Warren on November 11, 1978.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; her brother, James; infant sister, Shirley; stepdaughter, Donna; and grandson, Jason.
She is survived by her children, Larry (Lori), Jim (Ozzy), Randy, Julie (Steve); stepson, Ron (Trudy); 13 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Emery Place for the kindness, patience, and care they showed Ruby during her time there. They are also deeply grateful for the wonderful hospice care provided by St. Croix Hospice, especially Tori, Chanice, Missy, Taylor, and Chaplain Tim, whose compassion and support meant so much.

In memory of Ruby, memorials may be directed to the city of Robins Fire Department or St. Croix Hospice.
