Ruby Louise Willardson

Ruby Louise Willardson, beloved mother, nonna, grandmother and friend, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in Cathlamet, Washington. Louise was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on January 31, 1945, to Goldie Mae and Ralph Bolles.

When Louise was 2 years old, her family moved to Alaska where she was raised. At age 17, she married James (Jim) Scott. They were blessed with two children, Wendy and James (Jimmy). Jim was in the United States Coast Guard and the family moved around. Jim passed away in June 1966, and shortly after his passing, Louise had their son, Michael.

In 1968, Louise met and married her eternal partner, Kerry Willardson. They were sealed for time and all eternity in 1975.

Louise was preceded in death by Kerry in 2015. 

She is survived by Kerry’s four children: Kirk Willardson, Kathy Brongo, Pauline Mendenhall, and Brent Willardson; Louise’s three children:

Wendy Allen, James Scott-Willardson, and Michael Scott-Willardson; 26 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 15, 2025, at Castle Dale City Cemetery located at 650 North Center Street, Castle Dale, Utah.
