Ruby Williams Obituary
Williams, age 83, of Toc-
coa, passed away Satur-
day, Oct. 11, 2025, at her
home.
Born May 3, 1942, in
Carnesville, Ga., she was
the daughter of the late
Fulton and Willie Martin
Hicks.
Mrs. Williams was a
waitress at Linda's Place
and was of the Baptist
faith.
Family members in-
clude her daughters, Tam-
mie Williams and Kim
Williams (Ben); grandchil-
dren, Joseph Adams, Tai-
lor Lewallen, Blake
Lewallen, Ashley Lawton
and Mariah Cottrell; great-
grandchild, Karson Cot-
trell; and brothers, Ed
Hicks and, Maurice Hicks
(Janice).
In addition to her par-
ents, she was preceded in
death by her husband,
Claudell Holcomb
Williams; son, Johnny
Lewallen; daughters, Pat-
sy Lewallen and Linda
Adams; grandson, Thomas
Benjamin Adams; sisters,
Bobbie Greene, Betty
Belvin, Dorothy Reed and
Francis Moore; and broth-
ers, Bill Hicks, Ray Hicks
and Wade Hicks.
The family received
friends at the mortuary
from 12-1:45 p.m. Tuesday,
Oct. 14, 2025.
Graveside services
were held at Roselane
Cemetery at 2 p.m. Tues-
day, Oct. 14, 2025, with the
Rev. Jewell Gaines offici-
ating.
Burial followed.
The following gentle-
men served as pallbearers:
Bryan Hicks, Jason Hicks,
Blake Williams, Rodney
Weaver, Duston Cottrell
and Joseph Adams.
In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may
be made to Whitlock Mor-
tuary to help with final ex-
penses.
