Ruby (Cosgrove) Barr-Wolford, 97, of Frostburg passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Sterling Care.
Born on March 17, 1928 to the late Milly (Filer) and Wilbert Cosgrove. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Irvin Wolford; brother, Martin Cosgrove.
Ruby was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Farrady Post 24. She was a full time housewife who took care of her family and her cats.
Surviving are her step children, Harry "Wink" Wolford, Bonnie Bowser and husband Henry; grandchildren, James "Jimi" Wolford and wife Carrie, Mary Kate Bowser and William Bowser; great grandchildren, Emma Lynn, Rachel Elizabeth and Jonathan Gabriel.
A memorial service will be held at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 1 P.M. with Pastor Chris Skidmore Officiating.
Inurnment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
