Ruby Delores Turner Young

Ruby Delores Turner Young, 89, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Friday January 9, 2015. A native of Tampa, Florida, she was a resident of the North Georgia area for 88 years and was a member of Community Baptist Church in Rock Spring, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Franklin Young; parents, Luther and Evelyn Sanders Turner; daughter, Teresa Dianne Young; grandson, Shane Walker; two sisters and four brothers. Ruby is survived by three daughters, Wanda Sue (Dean) Vaughn of Port Charlotte, FL., Del Millwood of Ringgold, GA., and Bobbie Apple of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA.; two sons, Denny Young of Ringgold, GA. and James "Jim" (Pam) Young of Ringgold, GA.; sister, Jean Silvers of Michigan; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday January 13, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Angel officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 P.M. and Tuesday until funeral time at the funeral home. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia.
