Rudolfo "Rudy" Ramirez, age 61, of Houston, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2025.

Rudy was born on April 15, 1964, in Bartow, Florida, to Luis Ramirez and Luisa Zapata Ramirez. He later moved to Houston, where he met the love of his life, Ernestina. They married on June 11, 1986, and had four sons. Rudy was a devoted husband and father who worked as a truck driver for over 35 years.

Rudy enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, watching the Houston Astros, and spending quality time with family and friends. He was known for his kind heart, selflessness, and dedication to his loved ones. He never met a stranger or hesitated to help anyone in need. Rudy would gladly give the shirt off his back and was a beloved mentor and role model to many.

Rudy was preceded in death by his son, David Lee Ramirez. He is survived by his wife, Ernestina Coy Ramirez; sons, Rudolfo Ramirez Jr., Joseph Ramirez, and Andrew Ramirez; his three beautiful grandchildren, Rylie, Cohen, and Stella; along with many beloved family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend Rudy's memorial service on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at:

Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 8706 Almeda Genoa Rd. Houston, Texas 77075
