Rudolph Jeter Obituary
73, of Henrico, passed away on February 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Evelyn Jeter; wife, Doris M. Jeter; sister, Mary Marsh; brother, George Albert Jeter. He is survived by his brothers, James Jeter (Lorraine), Robert Jeter (Valerie), John Jeter; step-children, Catherine and Marc Andrews, Donald and Jackie Whitlow, Doris Ann and Al Evans, Thomas and Stephanie Whitlow, Virginia and James Whitley; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Rudy retired from the Department of Corrections in Caroline County. Above all else, he loved his grandchildren and his furbabies. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, making wine, and, in his younger days, riding his Honda motorcycle.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Road where a Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Rudy's memory to the American Diabetes Association.

My condolences go out to Doris and the family. Rudy was a prince of a guy. My mom (Atha Sumner) loved this man. He never hesitated, even if he just got home from work, to help her. She could always depend on him with anything she needed. Thank you from our family! You were a great guy! RIP
