Rudolph J. Perry

On Sunday, January 28th, 2024 the Perry family experienced the unfortunate passing of Rudolph J. Perry, 87 years old of Carver, MA at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth. Rudolph (Rudy) was born in Duxbury, MA on June 28th, 1936. He was the son of the late Frank and Rose (Lopes) Perry and was raised and lived in Duxbury until 1978 when he then moved to Connecticut. He worked in construction most of his life as part of Local Union 478. He was also in the US Army serving as a para trooper during the Korean Conflict War. He was an avid sports fan of his beloved Boston Red Sox as well as a huge football fan. Upon retiring Rudy moved to Tallahassee, FL with his late wife Vicki where they enjoyed the beautiful Florida weather, and spent their leisure time together. Rudy will be missed by many and loved unconditionally by those whose hearts he has touched. He is predeceased by his ex-wife, mother of six children, Joanne Perry; survived by mother of two of his daughters, Gail Neal; sister-in-law, Connie Perry of Torrington, CT (wife of the late Richard Perry); his sons: Rudolph Perry, Jr. of Taunton, MA, Lawrence Perry of South Yarmouth, MA, Ricardo Perry and his wife Tanya of West Wareham, MA; daughters: Linda Stoner of Lynchburg, VA, Cheryl Cardoza and her husband Phillip of Lakeville, MA, Rhoda Franklin and her husband Gary of East Hampton, CT, Nicole Tillman and her husband Neil of Bristol, CT, Shannon P. Vincent and her husband Chase of Bristol, Ct, and the late Roxanne Costa. He is also survived by his sister Loretta Weaver of Middleboro, MA. He is predeceased by his siblings Richard Perry, Manuel Perry, Aville Perry, David Perry, Sr., Frank Monteiro, Robert Perry, Mary Tavares, and Elsie "Sally" Veiga. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
