Rufus E. Burns

Rufus was a man who loved Good and he loved people. I counted him as a very good friend for years. His attitude was simple and pure. Once he and I picked up ice for a church function. He insisted on paying part of the cost. As we left the store on the way to the church Rufus was quiet, obviously thinking, then said, "Brother Roger, that sure was sweet of me!" That was Rufus, always trying to do sweet things for his church, his family, and his friends! You will be missed. Love you Rufus.

May God wrap his mighty arms around the remaining family and friends. Rufus was a sweet soul and always was willing to help anyway he could. He also loved sharing his vegetables with friends.
