Rufus Jones

Rufus 'Kenny' Jones was born on April 10th, 1969, to the late Minnie M. Jones and Oscar Jones, Jr. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, at Helene Fuld - Capital Health in Trenton, New Jersey.

He lived his entire life as a resident of his birthplace, Trenton, New Jersey, and he was educated in the Trenton Public School System. In the community, he was a well-known construction worker, who worked on residential houses, following in the footsteps of his older brothers, Boysie and Chris Wiggins. Known for his strength, he was nicknamed, 'Muscles'; his cousin Jerome gave him that nickname because he was a very strong man. He also had an infectious laugh, and his jokes were like lightening.

Predeceased by his brothers, Boysie L. Wiggins and Gary L. Washington, he leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sonya Jones; brothers, Bernard Wiggins, Christopher Wiggins, Clyde Wiggins, Jammie Wiggins, Roy McRae, Albert (Chea) Washington, and Lloyd George; sisters, Lisa Anne June, Sonja Wiggins, Jennifer Jones, and Elizabeth Chambers; children, Essence, Amber, Autumn, Malik, Nazir, Zakaya, and Kaalieef; grandchildren, Nasir, Stephan, Cashmere, Breaion, Jah'aire, MaSyiaa, Axariua, Miori, Alaina, Juelz, and Ashton; special big cousins, Joanne and Andrew; favorite niece, Sadia Ware and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
