Rufus Lee, a beloved truck driver, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024 at 4:28 am, in Fresno, Texas, at the age of 88. Born on November 13, 1935, in Kilgore, Texas, Rufus lived a life full of happiness and joy touching the hearts of those who knew him.
As a dedicated professional, Rufus spent many years on the road, where built a reputation for his dependability and strong work ethic. His colleagues admired him not only for his as a truck driver but also for his friendly demeanor, which made him a cherished figure in the transportation community.
Beyond his career, Rufus was known for his love of dancing, a passion that brought him immense joy and served as a wonderful outlet for his vibrant personality. Friends recall many joyous occasions where Rufus's happiness was infectious, often lighting up the dance floor with his enthusiasm and energy.
Rufus's life will be honored with a Prayer Service on September 20, 2024, beginning at 8:30 PM, followed by a Funeral Service on September 21, 2024, at 3:00 PM. Both services will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas.
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. Rufus Lee will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of his family and friends.
