RUSH COLLINS Obituary
Visitation on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Donaldsonville from 10:00 a.m. until religious services at 12:00 Noon, conducted by Pastor Charles R. Brown, Sr. Interment in church cemetery.
Survived by his beloved wife, Vivian Wilson Collins. His son, Raymond (Juanita Dianne Devore) Collins, Sr. Daughters, Sharia (Lee Roy, deceased) Collins, Debby Collins, and Aisha (Trevlon) Noble. Grandchildren, Courtney DeRon Collins, LaTedra Collins, Wonestta (Harry) Etienne, Raymond Collins, Jr. and Aria Noble. Godchildren, Eloise Collins Scott, Wayne Landix, Lois Williams and George Wilson. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Lou Ethel Collins and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Rush Collins, Sr. and Leontine Brooks Collins. His siblings, Lionel Collins and Percy Collins. Emma (Wilson) Comeaux, Jr., Albertha Collins Williams, Lillie Mae (Clifton) Joseph, Sr., and Leontine (Joseph) Craig. Sisters-in-law, Freda (Murray) Landix, Cleotha Wilson (Ferdinand Pearly) and Thelma (Allen) Nicholas. Brothers-in-law, Paul Wilson and James C. (Itasca) Wilson.
