Russel Morison Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Robert.
His memory will be cherished by his wife, Carol "Jean" of 65 years; children, Donna Dunham, Susan Morison, Karen (Leon) MacDougall, Daniel (Beth) Morison and Julie (Mark) Rubacky and a sister, Joyce DiFederico. He was also blessed with fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 17, 2025 at 10:00 am at Pope John XXIII Catholic Church, 8290 Soule Road, Liverpool, NY. The Rite of Committal and Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.

I worked with Russ from 1981 to 89 at Robson & Woese
He was a great guy a great mentor he had to be in his 40s and I was probably in my 20s at that time
He was a great design and a "sound" design engineer
at the beginning 1981 I never thought he liked me. But later, we became good friends. I had a beer with him a year ago at twin trees 2.
And we reminiscent our days
I am very sorry about his demise. He was a great guy.
I was extremely honored when the entire family knew me, even though I did not know them
They all said that they talked about me and that was hair raising for me
God rest his soul and I sincerely mean that
If the family members can call me at 315-468-1113 I would love to have lunch or dinner with your people
He was a very courteous and a humble person

I worked many projects with Russ over the years. He was my "go to guy" for sound and electrical design.

I cherish my memories of growing up on Orion Path across the street from you guys. We had a marvelous childhood. Your parents were both so wonderful. Your dad, like mine, worked to support the family so the moms could stay home and organize activities for the kids. It was an idyllic childhood. I'll always remember your dad so fondly.
