Russell Atha Obituary
Born on September 7,1962 in Gwinnett County, Boo was the cherished son of Jack and Hattie Mae Atha, who preceded him in death, along with his brother, Rick Atha.
Boo is survived by his beloved son, Dustin Atha & Siarah and beloved Grandson, Emmitt Jack Atha, beloved Daughter, Ivey Atha, beloved sister, Rhonda, as well as many loving family members & special friends.
Boo grew up in our beloved community of Duncan Town in Sugar Hill. A graduate of NGHS, class of 80 where he played baseball & basketball. His love of sports continued his entire life. Especially Atlanta Braves, shared by his entire family.
Family will host a Memorial Service honoring Boo's life, November 9th, 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford Ga. Friends and family are invited to gather for one hour prior to the service, beginning @ 11:00AM.
