Russell J. Donton Sr.

Russell J. Donton, Sr., 78, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2023 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was born on Monday, February 26, 1945 to the late Harry Donton and Nora Donton nee Hatt in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He was a 1963 graduate of Lebanon High School before obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Elizabethtown College in 1976. Before his retirement he was a budget analyst for the federal government. Russell enjoyed golf, the Miami Dolphins, and the Atlanta Braves. He was also a member of the Maennerchor club and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving is his beloved wife of 57 years, Kathleen M. Donton; children Russell J. Donton, Jr. (Lynna Egan) and Kelly Brenner (Jason); grandchildren Katelyn Brenner, Wyatt Donton and Madison Donton. He was preceded in death by siblings Clayton Donton, George Donton, Pearl Levan and Elsie Fralick. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA.
