Russell J. Hill

Russell J. Hill, age 38, of Belle Vernon, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born on August 24, 1987 in Johnstown, PA, the son of Jeffrey Hill, Altoona, PA and Laura Mock Lukac and Stephen Lukac of Uniontown PA. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael J. Hill.

He was an artist in his work. He had a passion for trains and enjoyed music. He loved his family and friends and always made them laugh. He was the light in every room he entered.

Russell is survived by his wife, Julia Hill, sons, Ethan Hill of Johnstown and Gregory Pierce of Belle Vernon; daughters, Christa Hill and Olivia Hill both of Belle Vernon and Ava Hill of Johnstown, PA; brother, Justin Hill, Uniontown, PA and sisters, Clarissa Hill and Samantha Hill both of Altoona PA and Alexys Lukac of Uniontown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA, where family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 2 until 4 PM.
