Born on April 25, 1979, in East Liverpool, he was the son of Rick A. Hissom of Newell and the late Sara Kane Loveday.
He was also preceded in death by his baby brother, Christopher Hissom. Rusty was an avid sports fan, especially of the Steelers and West Virginia University. He loved WWE wrestling and enjoyed fishing.
He will be greatly missed by his father and his brother, Andrew Hissom (Sandi), as well as his step-siblings, Amy Gilbert (Mike Baldwin), Tara Mellon (Jason), Theresa Wolfe (Mike), and several nieces and nephews.
Pastor Mike Direnzo will officiate the service on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the Arner Funeral Chapel at 5:00 PM. Friends may visit with his family two hours prior to the service from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
