Russell F. "Russ" Jones

Many hands and hearts went into our upbringing, Uncle Russell´s being one of the most influential. Saturday mornings started with a wholesome breakfast and a giant cup of orange juice. Every summer during Florida´s heat of the day, our skin was spared by daily indoor activities, often movies and museums with Uncle Russell and Grandpa. Countless seashells were collected and more useless knowledge than any one person should know was shared. We were fortunate enough that our kids got the same memories, including beaches, breakfasts, and a wealth of knowledge shared by the Great Uncle Russ. Nothing prepares you for living without a piece of your heart, but knowing our kids will forever have a piece of his legacy embedded in their hearts makes it a little easier. We are who we are because Aunt Debbie and Uncle Russell cared enough to love us as if we were their own.
