Russell A. Valentine

Russell A. Valentine, 69, of Rehrersburg, passed away Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Russell, a son of the late James C. and Bessie M. (Edris) Valentine, was born in Womelsdorf. He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl J. Nornhold; a son, Russell A. Valentine, Jr.; two stepdaughters, Sheri M. Krill, and Summer Mojica; a stepson, Jason Krill; a brother, Harold Valentine; a sister, Evelyn Yeakley; four grandchildren, Austin J., Travis J., Dakota J., and Jayden J. Nornhold; and two step-grandchildren, Shawnee Manwiller, and Toxey Krill. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles, and Thomas Valentine; and three sisters, Julie Valentine, Joan Fessler, and Loretta Hook. He was a 1972 graduate of Tulpehocken High School and was last working Friday, Dec. 1st, for R+L Carriers. Services for Russell, along with his brother Thomas who passed away on the same day, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, Dec. 9th, at Hill Funeral Home, 111 Godfrey St., Rehrersburg. Visitation with the families will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Trinity UCC Cemetery, Rehrersburg, with his companion Karen J. Krill, who passed away Feb. 3, 2021.
