His family and friends will forever feel the sting of his loss. He leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories to anyone that knew him.
Rusty was a New Jersey native that moved to Gainesville Georgia in the early 80s. His love of construction led to a successful business building homes and in land development as well as an egg processing business. He had a passion for car collecting and truly loved the art of the deal. The only thing that he loved more was God, family, friends and his CJ7.
A more dedicated husband, father, brother and friend you could not ask for. If you knew Rusty, you knew a man that believed in the Lord, hard work, discipline and fairness. He dispensed the wisdom of Solomon to the many who were in need of it. He was that solid friend you could always go to no matter what the topic. He could help you to live a better life or give tips on your engine swap. A better husband, dad, brother or friend we could not have been blessed with.
The world is much dimmer now that he's not in it, but we can't help to praise God for the gift that this man was to all that knew him.
Thank you Lord Jesus for loving us enough to give us Rusty.
Rusty is survived by his wife, Christine and two sons. Rob and and wife Zoe. Cody and wife Kaylie and granddaughter Oakley. His brother Mark Papp and his wife Michea, and Marley.
He is predeceased by his father, Albert Papp Sr. and mother Adelyn Mays. Grand parents Miklos and Yolan Papp of Hungary and Otto and Maria Seifert of Austria.

Please come celebrate Rusty's life at Memorial Park South Funeral Home on Thursday the 26th of June from 6-8 pm. A graveside service is planned for Friday the 27th at 10AM at Alta Vista Cemetery immediately followed by a service at First Presbyterian Church - Gainesville.
