Rusty Ann Mary Davis, born on January 31, 1951, passed away just shy of her 75th birthday on January 29, 2026. Her life was a testament to faith and community, marked by her active involvement in the Catholic Church, where she found both solace and purpose.
Throughout her life, Rusty was known for her steadfast dedication to her church. Her involvement went beyond mere attendance; she was a vibrant part of the community, participating in various activities and events that enriched the lives of those around her. Her faith was a guiding force, providing her with strength and a sense of belonging. Her love of hats was something she will always be remembered for. She was a salesperson most of her life and was commonly known as The Hat Lady. She traveled the world both privately and while serving 14 years in the naval reserve.
Rusty's legacy is characterized by her warmth and commitment to her beliefs, which left lasting impressions on those who knew her. Her presence in the church community will be deeply missed, as she touched many lives with her kindness and devotion.
She is survived by sons Louis Bergh, Thor Davis, David Umstead, and grandson Thor Davis. She was the second of thirteen children.
A funeral service to honor Rusty Ann Mary Davis will be held on February 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The service will take place at 6500 Crawford Rd., Argyle, TX 76226, with Father George officiating. Her community and loved ones are invited to celebrate her life and bid farewell to a beloved member of their church family.
