Ruth E. Angerhofer

Funeral Services for Ruth Angerhofer, 91, of Aberdeen will be 11:00 am, Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St. with Father Richard Zephier officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park, Aberdeen. Ruth passed away on August 6th at Primrose Cottages in Aberdeen.
Ruth Millard was born on October 5, 1930, in Britton, SD to Percy and Christine (Wanken) Millard. This is the area where she grew up and attended school. She moved to Aberdeen where she met and married Ronald Angerhofer of Aberdeen on September 5th 1952. They have two sons, Michael and Mark. Ruth began working at a plumbing supply company which eventually became McFarland supply, where she remained until she retired.
She was an active member and officer in several organizations, to include Zonta International and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of the Altar Guild at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, where she was a member of the congregation for over 60 years.
Grateful for having shared Ruth's life are her husband, Ronald Angerhofer, sons, Michael (Jean) Angerhofer and Mark (Brenda) Angerhofer, grandchildren, Charles, Thomas, and David, and great-granddaughters, Cashlyn and Rhian.
Preceding Ruth in death are her parents, Percy and Christine Millard and eleven siblings.
