Ruth Arlene Boggs was born on September 7, 1936, in Evansville, Indiana and departed this life on Friday, July 4, 2025, at her residence in Annville, she was 88 years old. She is the daughter of the late Verner and Ella Mae Barnett.
Ruth is survived her daughter Phyllis Lynn Vaughn and her husband John of McKee. She was blessed with one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Vaughn. She is also survived by her sister Sharon Taylor of Indiana and two nieces Kimberly Taylor and Dena Dossett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Pearl Boggs.
Ruth was a member of Letterbox Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, with Bro. Jimmy Morgan presiding. Burial will follow in the Cornett Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers include Aaron Boggs, Hershel Boggs, Austin Gilbert, Noah Gabbard, Stephen Gabbard, David Palmerion and Steve Gilbert.
A visitation will begin at 12 Noon on Tuesday at the Lakes Funeral Home Chapel in McKee. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com Lakes Funeral Home oversaw arrangements.
