Ruth Yother Livingston Burdick passed away on February 25, 2026 at home after several years of progressive, declining health. Ruth was born on August 23, 1939, in Dayton, Tennessee to Daniel and Mae Yother (deceased). She also was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother, and by her son Brian Livingston. She is survived by her daughter Joy Deussen and four grandchildren: Richard (Andrea) Deussen, Daniel (Olivia) Deussen, Henry Deussen and Isabelle Deussen, and a number of nieces and nephews. In adherence to Ruth’s wishes, there will be no memorial service.
