Ruth Davalos Obituary
She was born on February 4,1943 in Houston, TX, and spent most of her life in San Antonio, Texas.
Beloved mother, inspirational teacher, and lifelong friend, Ruth was a constant source of cheer, encouragement and affection for her children and grandchildren. She inspired family, students and friends through her teaching, words and art and her limitless curiosity about the world. She brightened the lives of everyone she met until the very end, and she will be profoundly missed.
Ruth is survived by her children and their partners; Deana Davalos & Patrick Monnier, Doug & Kim Davalos, and David Davalos & Elaine Dannemiller, and her grandchildren Danielle, Davis, Daylan, Delphi & Desi. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne & Jackie Appelt.
