Ruth Duyster

Ruth Duyster, age 83 of Holland was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Leota Kraai and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Hans in 2018. She was a longtime member of Ebenezer Reformed Church which transitioned to Family Church Ebenezer Campus. Ruth was a hairdresser for many years at Style Beauty Salon in Zeeland until she opened her own in home salon. Ruth was a very sentimental lady, and her family meant the world to her. She enjoyed scrapbooking, doing Creative Memories, and organizing breakfast gatherings. She loved her dogs and had them especially well-fed. She was very close with her nephews Jack, Ron, Chris and her niece Patti. Several mini vacations were enjoyed by Hans and Ruth and sister Marcia and Lee and their children. Ruth also enjoyed collecting Hummels, plates, and Precious Moments.

Visitation will be 4-7 pm Monday, November 24, 2025, at Drenthe Christian Reformed Church, 6344 Adams Street, Zeeland. Her funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, November 25, 2025, also at the church. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
