Ruth Edison

While I had not been in regular contact with Aunt Ruth in recent years, she was always a very sweet lady. She was a strong woman who did a lot to help those around her, even when she was facing her own challenges. I have a lot of fond memories of her from my childhood. She will be missed.

I grew up with Ruth's three sons on the same street in Dallas. We made so many memories growing up on North Street. We played baseball, football, had dirt clod fights in the nearby gullies. You were always welcomed by Ruth. She looked after all of us neighborhood kids. Later in life, even with all the trials she went through she never waive-rd. My only regret is not visiting her as I should have.
